Mr T was a customer under my leads campaign.
We didn't start off well. I remember him scolding me over the phone, and he told me that 那个人不在了,我也不懂要找谁,你们骗人的,我不要再买了. So I tried to tell him nicely, that he might have misconception of the investments that he has bought previously, why not he visit the branch and ask our staff to explain to him. Chances are, when these people lose their faith, and they won't come down anymore. And I was praying on that, cos he's really fierce and nasty over the phone.
He came down, after a few days, together with his son. I was telling myself, pls don't scream at me. He has misconception on sum assured and maturity return, arguing over the fact that he should get the sum assured upon maturity. I "educate" him on the different between the 2, and to my surprise, he accepted my explanation. Phew!
Though he said he doesn't want to buy anymore, he came back to buy an endowment plan when his plan was due. From then, he will say hi to me whenever he drops by the bank or he would look for me when he encounters any problem. He became the "uncle next door".
His son told me that Mr T had a heart attack... it's a one-time attack, and he's gone.
